Built-in sound card ASRock B450 pro4 or separately purchased?
Good day. I ask for help from experts in sound cards. There is an ASRock B450 pro 4 motherboard with a built-in Realtek ALC892 sound card. I began to engage in the translation of game processes and the sound from my BM800 microphone (I know that it’s not very good) I don’t really like, so to say empty or flat. I wondered whether it is worth buying a separate sound card for example CREATIVE Audigy FX, will it solve my problem. If so, I will take your purchase recommendations into account.
No there Realtek ALC898 DAC is not much better, and is mainly useful in games.
better try the dfx audio enhancer program, there are a bunch of presets there, honestly I don’t know how it will work with a microphone, but it copes with sound output with a bang
Take Asus Xonar DG
24 bits
96kHz
The card is time-tested. Value for money here is good.
The card is ideal and especially ideal for monitor ears (the sound in them is awesome, these are the same ISK MHD8500).
Take the asus, you will not lose
Audigy FX is a little better than the built-in sound one, since the ALC 898 itself is shorter than the weather. Better buy a simple preamp. BM800 for streams is more than enough, a normal microphone.
Very seriously, the sound will not change from replacing the audio card, the noise may become less obvious.
